This Chest of Drawers is solid wood through and through, so she is a very heavy, solid piece. She has been dressed out in lovely neutral tones, with a deeper shade accentuating her front carvings. A new top has been added, with a subtle white wash over it. Her drawers have all been lined with a botanical wallpaper, and a light touch of bling added with sparkling glass hardware, to match her elegant glass feet. This piece has been freshly updated in the softest of calming green. The desk top has been stripped down to the original wood, stained, and a lovely hand painted gold metallic vine pattern has been added for that touch of elegance. Two lovely cut glass knobs add that just right amount of bling. The 48 x 26 top is a generous work surface. She is finished on all four sides, so she's pretty from any angle. S O L D - When I first got this piece, I was drawn to her uniqueness. She did have a large piece of marble inset in the center of the top, and I really wanted to do something different. The end result is a top & leaves that has had the old finish removed, and a fresh new light look. The marble is long gone, and a clear resin center is now there, with several design elements suspended therein. The base/legs of the unit are a soft neutral ("Revere Pewter") and she is ready to be the star of any room. Looks are deceiving, as she is significantly larger than she appears in pics.

S O L D - This unique desk is made to tuck into any unused corner, so it will help you maximize on space, without taking up much valuable real estate. This solid wood piece has been lovingly redesigned with Blue-Gray tones. A botanical design with branches, birds and peaches has bee applied to the top drawers fronts and the underneath portion of the desk. The other drawer fronts have a metallic stripe on them, or a subtle tone on tone branch motif. The top 2 side drawers are fake fronts (not operable), leaving space for the roomy top center drawer. The bottom 2 drawers (with the tone on tone branch design) are actually 1 deep drawer on each side, with the front appearance of 2. Adding the stripe front drawers gives you a total of 5 storage drawers. The desk top has been refinished, with a soft metallic French script that only appears when the light hits it just right. The shiny copper cup pulls, and the matching rose colored glass knobs are the perfect finishing touch to this piece.

S O L D - Meet Bertha. I have NEVER named a piece of furniture, ... until now. This big Ole gal just automatically was a Bertha. But now she's Big, BEAUTIFUL Bertha. I do not know the age of the piece, but I can tell you that she is 100% solid wood construction, and she was made in Indonesia. The soft green tone on tone design is both pleasing and understated. She's a big gal and will provide plenty of storage in her 2 large cubbies and 3 lined drawers. The cut glass knobs unfortunately do not show their sparkle in the pics, but add that perfect amount of bling IRL.
